is there a
way to disable all popups of mtp devices

I have a
kiosk that is looked down and when a mp3 player is connected that is configured
as a mtp device I get a popup windows and the end user can get to the explorer

I disabled
autorun in group policy and I am running windows xp pro sp3

hi sir, i have the same problem that's driving me nuts for over 2 years. my sony walkman NWZ- B133F (B) is almost the same with your device, and having the same problem. but in addition,i have these extra problems:
-player is dead for almost 2 years. i mean it won't turn on no matter what i do, even i hit the reset button.
-i tried recharging it by plugging it to my pc for a couple of minutes, but its no use.
-my pc detects it as removable disk, but the player doesn't light up when inserted.
*my pc works on windows XP service pack 2.
-when the player is inserted, removable disk icon displays at "my computer", but when opened, it displays "pls insert disk into drive F:".
-it doesnt display the "autoplay" options.

i tried your solution but nothing happened. it stays the same. hope you can help me. here's my email: mykel2688@yahoo .com.ph. thanks!
